Hasib Howlader

Director

Hasib is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser with over 15 years’ experience. He formerly worked at both UBS (as a corporate bond originator) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (in the Tax department) before taking control of Howlader & Co, where he has overseen exceptional growth over a sustained period over several years.

He specialises in tax advice but the breadth of his specialisms, as well as his business experience, makes him extremely valuable across a variety of financial matters.

He is fully proficient in statutory accounting, financial reporting and bookkeeping and is familiar with many of the legal issues relevant to small and medium-sized businesses.

Hasib also helps a large number of clients with tax saving, business planning, consulting, forensic accounting and fraud detection – and has suggested a range of sensible controls to combat malpractice.

He has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, holds a season ticket at Tottenham Hotspur and is fluent in English, Spanish and Bengali.

Sohan Rezone

Sohan joined Howlader & Co in 2009, and is currently a manager at the firm. He has a master’s degree from Anglia Ruskin University in International Accounting. He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

He specialises in complex personal tax returns, non-residence landlord tax returns, commercial property and small-to-medium-size companies.

Sohan is a keen badminton player (and has the skills to match!). He also enjoys travelling.

Claudia Cristian

Before joining Howlader & Co as a trainee in December 2014, Claudia graduated from Middlesex University with a first class BA Honours degree in Accounting and Finance. She is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the ICAEW.

In the office, Claudia has gained a reputation for being a specialist on the various rules regarding the treatment of EU sales for UK VAT purposes. She is also well-versed in the process of restoring a company.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing basketball, hitting the slopes for a spot of skiing, or, if she’s feeling a little less energetic, watching a movie at the cinema.

Dominic Barrow

After completing his ACCA exams, Dominic joined Howlader in early 2020. He has a Mathematics degree from City University and is currently studying to become a chartered tax advisor.

In the office he is responsible for ensuring our processes are up to date, and helps provide internal technical training and support to colleagues. His specialisms include individual tax returns, capital gains computations and micro businesses.

Dominic enjoys hosting guests, smoking meats on his Traeger barbecue and baking all sorts of desserts.
